Plants-vs-Zombies

Zombies are not my usual style for cake decorating.  But my friend's son is celebrating his 4th birthday on Saturday, and he's absolutely obsessed with a game called Plants vs. Zombies.  This is his first birthday party, so his mom wanted to give him the cake that he really wanted...  I'd never hears of the game before, so had to do a little research.  It was fun to so something a little outside of the box.

Lizard Tails

Snakes and snails and puppy-dog tails.  That's what little boys are made of, right?  This particular boy has a pet lizard and wanted a birthday cake to match.

My Little Pony

My Little Ponies are the favorite of the moment for this super-cute almost 4-year-old.  She got one cake for her family party, and a second sheet cake to take to her preschool friends.

Teddy Bear Cupcakes

The night before her 2nd birthday, my daughter requested cupcakes for her friends at nursery school.  This little teddy-bear cake, which was my first attempt at a "cupcake cake," was a hit with her class.
