For the Groom

A bride-to-be contacted me about making a special surprise Groom's Cake for her upcoming wedding.  Her husband-to-be is a lineman for the local electric company.  She wanted something fun, with his job as the theme.

Easter Baskets

These little Easter baskets were just a fun little project that I think the kids are going to love at our big family dinner on Sunday afternoon.    

Plants-vs-Zombies

Zombies are not my usual style for cake decorating.  But my friend's son is celebrating his 4th birthday on Saturday, and he's absolutely obsessed with a game called Plants vs. Zombies.  This is his first birthday party, so his mom wanted to give him the cake that he really wanted...  I'd never hears of the game before, so had to do a little research.  It was fun to so something a little outside of the box. 

All-Star

This sports-themed cake scored big at the All-Star boy's 2nd birthday party.

80 Years Young

The birthday girl who received this cake was celebrating her 80th year with family and friends.  Her youth and vitality inspired fun and whimsy.

Holiday Wedding

The bride's selection of flowers inspired this cake, created for an intimate wedding during the holiday season.

A mix of fondant and chocolate helped to create this seashore themed cake for a beach bridal shower.
